Job Description

Leads and coordinates implementation of IOM health projects and interventions in Venezuela. The role monitors delivery and budgets, analyses health information, coordinates technical and administrative work, and supports capacity building with authorities and partners. It prepares reports, documents lessons and supervises staff to keep health programming aligned with IOM policies and donor requirements.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Lead implementation of health project activities
  • Monitor delivery and recommend workplan adjustments
  • Analyse health developments and relevant documentation
  • Monitor health-project budgets and approved revisions
  • Coordinate financial, administrative and technical project components
  • Conduct health-related capacity-building workshops
  • Liaise with health authorities and relevant partners
  • Prepare project reports and supervise reporting staff

Role Requirements

  • High school diploma with seven years of relevant experience, or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with five years
  • Fluency in Spanish, oral and written

Desired Criteria

  • Experience with international humanitarian, non-governmental or government institutions in a multicultural setting
