Job Description
Supports migration health assessments at IOM’s Windhoek clinic through nursing assistance, diagnostic procedures and records management. The role helps migrants and refugees receive safe examinations, referrals and continuity of care while maintaining infection-control and clinical documentation standards.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Assist medical examinations, vital-sign checks and specimen collection
- Support tuberculosis management, infection prevention and medical movements
- Explain health assessments, tests, treatments and referrals to migrants
- Maintain client histories, biometric records and assessment registers
- Assist emergency and chronic-case management and specialist referrals
- Upload medical reports and maintain accurate applicant records
- Support medical supplies, inventory and invoice checks
Role Requirements
- High School diploma with three years of relevant work experience, or an intermediate nursing degree with three years of relevant work experience
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office
- Fluency in English and local language
Desired Criteria
- Experience in tuberculosis management, immunisation, communicable diseases, laboratory testing or public health
