Job Description
Leads the development and modernization of IOM's global project-budgeting framework and results-based-budgeting processes. The officer links project and institutional budgets, guides policy and systems integration, analyses organizational financial performance, and equips headquarters and field offices with budget capacity, reporting tools and guidance for sound financial decision-making.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Lead development and refinement of IOM’s global project-budgeting framework and its business processes
- Develop standards and methodologies for reviewing project budgets and the Programme and Budget
- Support consultations on Results-Based Budgeting with stakeholders, partners and donors
- Integrate Results-Based Budgeting processes into IOM’s ERP system and PRIMA
- Update budget policies and manuals and support change management for automation
- Analyse budget performance and prepare dashboards, reports and training materials for headquarters and field offices
Role Requirements
- Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration or a related field with seven years of relevant professional experience, or a university degree in those fields with nine years
- Fluency in English
Desired Criteria
- Results-Based Budgeting implementation within the UN context
- Knowledge of Business Intelligence and reporting tools
