Job Description
Supports UN Geneva's programme planning and budget function by preparing cost estimates, monitoring expenditure and producing budget-performance documentation. The role maintains reliable financial records, supports staffing and allotment administration, and assists grant, procurement, travel, cost-recovery and billing processes for the Financial Resources Management Service.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Prepare programme-plan revisions, cost estimates and budget proposals
- Monitor expenditure projections and prepare budget adjustments and performance submissions
- Review financial data and coordinate budget-report preparation with finance colleagues
- Administer staffing tables, allotments and related authorizations
- Support cost-recovery, charge-back and billing documentation for client entities
- Prepare Umoja commitments, requisitions, travel requests, shopping carts and purchase orders
Role Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least seven years of experience in finance, budget, accounting, administrative services or a related area
- English and French
Desired Criteria
- Experience within the UN Common System or a similar international organization is desirable
- Experience administering staffing positions and organizational structures is desirable
- Experience in grant and project administration is desirable
- Experience in procurement, travel, cost recovery or billing is desirable
