Job Description
Protects UN House Sarajevo personnel, visitors, premises and assets by providing round-the-clock access control, patrols, control-centre support and emergency response. The security guard verifies and screens people and vehicles, uses security equipment, monitors security and safety systems, records incidents and shift findings, conducts physical checks, maintains logs and emergency keys,.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Control pedestrian and vehicular access to UN House facilities
- Screen personnel visitors vehicles and equipment and prevent unauthorized access
- Conduct patrols and physical security checks across facilities perimeter and parking areas
- Monitor control-centre emergency video intrusion fire and access-control systems
- Respond to incidents emergencies and security breaches
- Maintain logbooks records emergency keys and shift reports
- Support events drills security briefings and safe access
Role Requirements
- Secondary education
- Two years of security-field experience
- Access control video monitoring patrolling and protection of premises and assets experience
- Security reporting record-keeping logbook and incident-documentation experience
- Fluency in Bosnian Croatian or Serbian
Desired Criteria
- Physical-security training certification or licensing
- Emergency response including fire medical incidents evacuation and security threats
- International-organization or diplomatic-mission security experience
- Fire safety and first aid training
- Working English and local languages
