Job Description
The IMF Resident Macroeconomic Frameworks Advisor, based in Rome at the new SEETAC centre, strengthens forecasting and analytical capacity in beneficiary-country institutions. The advisor delivers technical assistance, training and peer learning; develops workplans with national authorities and partners; coordinates IMF and development-partner inputs; and supports macroeconomic policy analysis, reporting and the centre’s regional work programme.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Deliver technical assistance and training on macroeconomic frameworks and forecasting

Role Requirements
- Postgraduate degree in economics or a related field
- At least 14 years of relevant macroeconomic-forecasting experience with a Master’s degree, or 10 years with a PhD
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
