Summary of Responsibilities
- Deliver and coordinate technical assistance and training on macroeconomic frameworks
- Develop macroeconomic forecasting and policy-analysis tools with government institutions
- Prepare medium-term projects and annual workplans with country authorities and IMF stakeholders
- Manage certification, contracting and backstopping for short-term experts
- Maintain technical-assistance, training and budget records in CDMAP
- Contribute to PFTAC steering, reporting, outreach and conference activities
Role Requirements
- Post-graduate degree in Economics
- At least five years of relevant professional experience
- Practical knowledge of the IMF financial programming framework
- Excellent data-management and analytical skills using MS Excel and econometric applications
- Experience in macroeconomic modelling and forecasting using relevant software
- Strong spoken and written English
Desired Criteria
- Knowledge of EViews, Matlab, Dynare and Iris
