Summary of Responsibilities
- Oversee learning and development initiatives and assess regional training needs
- Guide staff and managers on the Performance Development Programme and evaluate its effectiveness
- Deliver orientation sessions and performance-management skills workshops
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for national and international positions across the region
- Conduct reference checks, due diligence and screening for international recruits
- Prepare employment offers, contracts, assignment letters and recruitment documentation
- Maintain recruitment reporting and support a positive candidate experience
- Support short-term recruitment, secondments, consultancy administration, onboarding and staff engagement
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Development, Business Management or a related field
- Five to seven years of experience in human resources, staff development, training or recruitment
- Ability to transfer knowledge about human-resources development principles and approaches
- Experience supporting managers and HR or administrative personnel on human-resources matters
- Facilitation and coordination skills
- Computer literacy across Windows, spreadsheets, word processing and email
- Fluent written and spoken Arabic and English
Desired Criteria
- Master's degree
- Experience with a Red Cross or Red Crescent National Society, IFRC or ICRC
