Job Description

Strengthens departmental surveillance, clinical-programme management and data quality for drug-resistant tuberculosis and adverse drug reactions in Bolivia. The volunteer works with national and local health authorities to monitor cases, validate records, supervise facilities, train health personnel and turn TB programme information into timely decisions and improvements in patient care.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Coordinate punto focal tuberculosis-fármaco resistente/reacción adversa antituberculosos activities with public-sector counterparts
  • Monitor progress, data quality and operational risks
  • Prepare technical reports and evidence for decision-making
  • Support capacity building and follow-up on agreed actions

Role Requirements

  • Degree in medicine
  • Five years of public-health experience
  • Three years of experience in drug-resistant tuberculosis or clinical tuberculosis care
  • Knowledge of national tuberculosis standards
