Punto Focal Estrategia de Grandes Ciudades - Santa Cruz

Supports Bolivia's tuberculosis response by diagnosing needs and coordinating the Grandes Ciudades strategy in Santa Cruz. The role develops and follows operational plans, monitors quality-improvement cycles and tuberculosis indicators, identifies gaps and prepares technical evidence for decisions with health authorities, municipal actors and priority populations.

• Diagnose the tuberculosis situation within the Grandes Ciudades strategy
• Develop regional operational plans and action lines based on the diagnosis
• Support implementation and monitoring of the strategy and quality-improvement cycles
• Identify programme and operational gaps in urban settings
• Monitor tuberculosis indicators and analyse information for programme decisions
• Prepare technical reports, planning inputs and evidence on strategy progress
• Coordinate with PNEI, departmental health services, municipalities and local partners
• Support actions for priority populations and timely diagnosis and treatment

• At least five years of general work experience in health
• At least three years of experience in tuberculosis
• Spanish

• Postgraduate study in public health or epidemiology
• Knowledge of national tuberculosis regulations and health programmes
• Knowledge of epidemiological surveillance and health indicators
• Knowledge of drug-resistant tuberculosis, adverse drug reactions and special tuberculosis cases
