Job Description
Supports IOM’s Roma Assistance Programme in Bosnia and Herzegovina, strengthening institutional capacity and coordination on readmission and sustainable reintegration. The associate helps deliver and monitor project work, manages administrative coordination and budget follow-up, prepares project documentation, and works with public authorities, United Nations partners and other stakeholders.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Assist implementation and monitoring of project activities
- Collect, analyse and present information and data on project topics
- Monitor budgets, verify funds, secure approvals and update budget information
- Coordinate administrative actions with organisational units and external parties
- Draft status reports and propose remedial action for delivery shortfalls
- Prepare correspondence, briefing notes, reports, graphics and statistical documentation
- Organise meetings, workshops and training sessions and maintain project records
- Coordinate implementation with authorities, partners, United Nations agencies and other stakeholders
Role Requirements
- High-school diploma with five years of relevant experience, or Bachelor’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or related fields with three years
- Experience liaising with government authorities, institutions, United Nations agencies and non-governmental organisations
- Experience in event and conference organisation
- Experience and knowledge in project-cycle management
- Fluent spoken and written English and Bosnian, Croatian or Serbian
Desired Criteria
- Prior work experience with international humanitarian organisations, non-governmental organisations or government institutions in a multicultural setting
