Job Description
IOM seeks a Project Assistant in Jakarta to support Immigration, Border and Governance programmes and administrative delivery. The role monitors projects, compiles data, coordinates administrative clearances, maintains project files, drafts reports, tracks payments and financial records, supports workshops and responds to information requests with government and partner stakeholders.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Assist implementation and monitoring of immigration and border-governance projects
- Retrieve, compile and present project information and data
- Coordinate administrative actions and clearances with organisational units and external parties
- Maintain project correspondence and supporting-document filing systems
- Draft reports, briefing notes, presentations and other documentation
- Track invoices, payments, expenditures and commitments
- Maintain financial records and reports in line with IOM standards
- Support meetings, workshops, training sessions and outreach campaigns
Role Requirements
- Indonesian national with knowledge of migration, border security and migration-management context in Indonesia
- University degree in a listed field with two years of relevant experience, or high school degree with four years
- Fluency in English and Indonesian, oral and written
- High computer literacy, especially databases and spreadsheets
Desired Criteria
- UN-agency experience
- IOM project-implementation and training experience
- Basic knowledge of project management
- Knowledge of IOM accounting systems and procedures
