Job Description
The Project Assistant supports IOM's Family Reunification project in Rome by coordinating DNA-testing arrangements, beneficiary contact and operational administration. Under the Project Manager, the post gathers project data, liaises with consulates and country offices, refers vulnerable cases and prepares financial records and reports to sustain legal migration pathways.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Organise DNA testing for family reunification with country offices, consulates and specialised laboratories
- Maintain contact with beneficiaries through phone, email and other communication tools
- Collect and compile project data and support internal and external updates
- Collect beneficiary information and refer cases with vulnerabilities to the Project Manager
- Support project administration and collect financial records for monthly and final reports
- Perform other relevant duties assigned for project implementation
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Political Science, International Relations or a related field with two years of professional experience, or high school diploma with four years
- At least two years of direct work, counselling or assistance to migrants or asylum seekers on legal procedures and immigration or asylum law
- At least two years of experience in applied data analytics using R, Python, PowerBI or similar tools
- Experience in administrative procedures and liaison with migration authorities
- Fluency in Italian and English
Desired Criteria
- Working knowledge of French, Arabic, Tigrinya, Somali or Urdu
