Job Description

Supports WFP programme-policy and partner-management work in Kosti, Sudan. The officer guides area offices on NGO partner selection, induction and performance monitoring, manages field-level agreements and payment reconciliation, coordinates partnership reporting and learning, and builds staff capacity to standardize agreements, cost allocations and risk management.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Support area offices to implement WFP NGO guidance for calls for proposals, partner selection, induction and performance monitoring
  • Lead field-level-agreement management and ensure agreements comply with standard operating procedures
  • Create field-level agreements in WINGS and reconcile distribution reports and invoices against deliveries and payments
  • Track agreement consumption and alert technical units to required amendments and adjustments
  • Provide guidance on partner budgets, data entry, distribution reports, invoices and technical agreements
  • Deliver partnership-management learning sessions for area-office staff and cooperating partners
  • Synthesize best practices and standardize templates, reporting structures and cost allocations

Role Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, International Affairs, Auditing, Finance or Law, or a first university degree with additional related experience or training
  • At least three years of professional experience across diverse programme areas including planning and implementation
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic
