Job Description

UNOPS seeks a Programme Management Senior Analyst in New York to support the UN Youth Office’s initiatives and partnerships. The P-2 temporary role coordinates flagship programmes, multi-stakeholder processes, community building, advocacy, climate engagement and monitoring, while producing briefings, reports and practical systems that enable accountable delivery across the Office’s workstreams.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Support planning, coordination and implementation of flagship programmes and initiatives
  • Coordinate multi-stakeholder engagement across youth-serving organizations and partner networks
  • Support implementation of the UN Youth Compass and its global community of practice
  • Develop advocacy initiatives and support influencer engagement strategies
  • Track implementation, maintain coordination tools and contribute to reports and strategic briefs

Role Requirements

  • Advanced degree plus two years, or bachelor degree plus four years, in a relevant field
  • Progressively responsible experience in programme management, youth affairs, partnerships or policy coordination
  • Experience supporting multi-stakeholder initiatives or coordinating diverse partner groups
  • Experience organizing events, consultations or strategic convenings

Desired Criteria

  • Experience in youth-related issues within the UN system or international organizations
  • Experience in partnership development with civil society, philanthropy or the private sector
  • Experience in climate-related youth engagement or advocacy campaigns
