Job Description
Leads programmes for UNECA’s Subregional Office for Central Africa in Yaounde. The officer develops and evaluates projects, analyses evidence, coordinates stakeholder consultations and outreach, prepares budget reports, facilitates workshops and missions, and uses surveys, data visualizations and analytical briefs to inform development priorities, monitoring and organizational learning.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and evaluate assigned programmes and projects
- Monitor programme implementation, identify issues and initiate corrective actions
- Research, analyse and present information from diverse sources and knowledge repositories
- Coordinate policy development, evaluations, research activities and studies
- Design data-collection tools and analyse survey responses
- Prepare implementation reports and foster dialogue with substantive divisions
- Coordinate outreach, training workshops, seminars and programme presentations
- Lead or participate in field missions and document lessons learned
- Prepare programme budgets, funding documents, progress reports and financial statements
- Analyse data and develop visualizations, analytical briefs and knowledge outputs
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree in business administration, management, knowledge management or a related field
- At least seven years of progressively responsible programme management, administration or knowledge-management experience
- Either English or French is required
- Cameroon national recruitment
Desired Criteria
- Completion of degree or non-degree programmes in data analytics, business analytics or data science
- Experience developing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating programmes or projects
- Experience coordinating stakeholders, facilitating consultations and training activities
