Job Description
Provides advanced programme, financial and operational support for UN Women’s Markets for Change and Ending Violence Against Women and Girls work in Kiribati. The role coordinates workplans, budgets, procurement, reporting, partner information and office logistics, helping the programme teams deliver Pacific Partnership and market-vendor initiatives effectively.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Prepare programme workplans, budgets and proposals for implementation arrangements
- Collect information for programme and project audits and support audit recommendations
- Create projects and budget revisions and monitor project financial closure in Quantum
- Monitor programme finances, prepare periodic reports and finalise FACE forms
- Oversee logistical, administrative and financial arrangements for meetings, workshops, events and missions
- Lead procurement planning and initiate procurement procedures for equipment, supplies and services
- Prepare cost-sharing agreements and process donor and programme information
- Coordinate training and knowledge-sharing on programme and operations issues
Role Requirements
- Completion of secondary education
- At least 7 years of progressively responsible experience in administration or programme management or support
- Experience using multiple office software packages in a computer environment
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Open to Kiribati nationals only
Desired Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in business or public administration
- Experience using Quantum or Oracle
- Previous experience working in the UN system
- Familiarity with Pacific countries and cultures, especially Kiribati
