Job Description
Supports UNFPA Sierra Leone's maternal-health and sexual and reproductive health programme by shaping projects, policy inputs and partnerships. The analyst provides technical support for integrated SRHR and GBV services, monitors programme quality and implementation, strengthens national capacity, and contributes evidence, advocacy and resource-mobilisation materials for country programme results.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Contribute to country-programme and project formulation with government and partners
- Provide technical support for SRHR, emergency obstetric care, maternal-death surveillance and midwifery services
- Strengthen health-sector policies, clinical guidelines, operational plans and training packages
- Support advocacy and resource mobilisation with public and private-sector partners
- Incorporate lessons and best practices into programme design and monitoring systems
- Analyse political, social and economic trends to identify programme opportunities
- Coordinate implementation with government, experts and UN agencies
- Prepare project summaries, conference papers, speeches and donor profiles
Role Requirements
- Master’s degree in Medicine, Public Health, Sociology, International Development or a related field
- At least two years of professional experience in development and population activities
- Demonstrated ability to work with government, academia and the development community
- Fluency in English
Desired Criteria
- Familiarity with the United Nations system
