Programador/a para el desarrollo de módulos del nuevo Sistema de Información y Registro de Educación Extraescolar (SIREEX) de Guatemala

Develops and delivers production-ready modules for Guatemala’s new SIREEX non-formal education information and registration system. The assignment builds its data model, validation rules, user interfaces, APIs and reporting functions, migrates historical records, and supports testing, deployment, documentation and technical transfer to the education ministry teams responsible for the platform.

• Configure development and test environments and establish the project code repository
• Implement the SIREEX data model, database entities, integrity constraints and required database objects
• Apply institutional security controls including access management, password encryption, event logging and input validation
• Develop ETL processes to migrate historical non-formal education records
• Build priority and complementary application modules, interfaces, registration flows and business rules
• Develop APIs, reporting functions and administration interfaces
• Execute unit, integration, performance and security tests and correct identified issues
• Document the system and transfer technical knowledge to DINFO and DIGEEX teams

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Engineering, Information Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field
• Demonstrable experience using Visual Studio 2026 and .NET Core
• Knowledge of Oracle database administration, design and optimisation
• At least three years of web-application development experience using .NET Core and Oracle Database
• Demonstrable proficiency in Python, Node and React
• Based in Guatemala
