Overview
Provides website, application and user support to ECLAC’s Statistics Division in Santiago. The assistant installs and maintains systems, supports web and content platforms, tests software, documents solutions, advises users, researches new technologies and helps analyse and present operational data.

Responsibilities
- Receive and process user support requests for assigned systems
- Install and maintain application software and hardware to specification
- Build, test and modify prototype applications with senior technical staff
- Support web publishing platforms, content-management systems and application architectures
- Prepare technical documentation, user guides and training materials
- Support application security, data integrity, recovery and operational maintenance
- Research and evaluate web technologies, collaboration tools and digital platforms
- Analyse data and update visual information products, webpages and brochures
Requirements
- High-school diploma or equivalent
- At least five years of experience in systems analysis and programming, systems administration and maintenance, software development, technical writing or a related area; reduced to three years with a first-level university degree
- Experience in web design and development including website production and front-end usability design
- Experience in systems administration, DevOps and infrastructure automation
- English at the required United Nations proficiency level
