Communication Specialist Intern

Supports ECLAC communication and outreach for international trade and regional integration, translating technical work into accessible web and social media content, producing visual materials, promoting publications and events, and tracking communication performance.

Department: International Trade and Integration Division

• Research and organise information on trade projects, publications and events
• Draft and edit web articles, news, social posts and institutional summaries
• Adapt technical content into accessible messages and visual materials
• Promote publications and support communication for conferences and workshops
• Maintain mailing lists and archives and analyse website and social-media statistics

• Current enrolment in or completion of the final year of a bachelor's degree, or enrolment in or completion of a graduate programme
• Field of study closely related to communication and outreach work
• Fluency in spoken and written English

• Unpaid internship expected to last four months
• Interns bear travel, visa, accommodation and living costs
