Job Description
Supports WFP’s Lomé supply-chain office by delivering procurement administration for goods and services. The assistant prepares tender and contract documentation, prioritises purchase requests, follows deliveries and records, maintains procurement databases, provides analysis and reporting, liaises with colleagues and suppliers, and offers support that keeps field operations supplied on time.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Perform procurement administration to help officers obtain goods and services for field operations
- Compile data and prepare tender, bid-evaluation, negotiation and contract-award documentation
- Review, record and prioritise purchase requests and verify supporting documents and funds
- Coordinate delivery of purchased goods and verify their receipt and inspection
- Research, compile and present procurement information in standard formats
- Maintain procurement databases and files for accurate, accessible reporting
- Liaise with colleagues to align procurement activities with wider programmes
- Provide technical support and assign routine work to support staff
Role Requirements
- Secondary-school diploma with a post-secondary certificate in procurement, public procurement, transport and logistics or an equivalent field
- At least five years of continuous work experience in procurement, public procurement, transport and logistics or an equivalent field
- Good written and spoken French
Desired Criteria
- Experience evaluating service-provider performance against key performance indicators
- Experience supporting preparation of contract documentation
