Job Description
Supports the International Seabed Authority's procurement cycle by advising requisitioners, preparing competitive tender documents, evaluating supplier offers and finalising purchase orders and contracts. The role resolves delivery discrepancies, maintains procurement records, processes tax exemptions and uses data on suppliers and expenditure to support sound purchasing decisions.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Review and prioritise purchasing requests, specifications and funding availability
- Prepare invitations to bid, requests for proposals and requests for quotation
- Evaluate offers and supplier terms for quality, cost, delivery and discounts
- Finalise purchase orders and contracts and prepare Contracts Committee submissions
- Resolve discrepancies involving delivered goods and process return-to-vendor forms
- Maintain procurement databases and contractual agreement records
Role Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least seven years of progressively responsible experience in procurement, administrative services, supply chain management or a related area
- Only nationals of ISA Member States are eligible for consideration
Desired Criteria
- Procurement operations experience applying procurement policies and procedures
- Experience preparing procurement, expenditure, supplier or management reports
- Experience with procurement software, databases and digital tools
- Experience in a procurement office or comparable function in a complex organisation
