Job Description
Leads management of the Global Fund for Coral Reefs programme portfolio from Geneva. The Portfolio Manager coordinates portfolio development, monitoring, technical reviews, risk management, reporting and impact measurement; guides proposal quality and safeguards compliance; builds partnerships; provides programme and finance advice; and manages a team delivering reef-positive investment outcomes.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Coordinate development and management of assigned trust-fund portfolios
- Lead portfolio tools, proposal evaluation and risk-registry inputs
- Manage progress reporting, impact measurement and lessons learned
- Conduct technical reviews and scoring of concepts and programme proposals
- Ensure proposal compliance with social, environmental and gender policies
- Lead partnerships and provide advice to investment and implementing partners
- Supervise portfolio specialists, analysts and a consultant
Role Requirements
- Master’s degree in environmental sciences, development studies, international relations, programme or project management, economics or related field with 7 years of relevant experience, or bachelor’s degree with 9 years
- Portfolio management, coordination, monitoring and quality-assurance experience
- Fluent English
