Job Description

Supports the Peacebuilding Impact Hub’s coordination, policy and research work on peacebuilding. The internship assists with stakeholder liaison, meeting materials, monitoring of intergovernmental action, policy analysis and outreach, producing written and data-driven outputs that inform planning, decision-making and reporting for United Nations peacebuilding initiatives.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Support liaison with national and international counterparts
  • Prepare meeting briefs, correspondence and related materials
  • Monitor peacebuilding action by intergovernmental groups, UN entities and other organisations
  • Support policy development, issue assessment and research activities
  • Prepare background papers, reports and data-driven analysis for decision-making
  • Support outreach and deliver training workshops and presentations

Role Requirements

  • Enrolment in a graduate programme, final year of a first university degree, or graduation within one year of internship commencement
  • Field of study closely related to the internship
  • Computer literacy in standard software applications
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • Proof of eligibility for the internship programme
