Job Description
Supports UNICEF zonal offices in Afghanistan with integrated programme planning, monitoring, budget oversight and results-based management. The specialist strengthens data use, risk mitigation, cash-based programming and social-protection coordination, working with field teams and partners to improve programme quality and accountability across three regional offices.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Coordinate zonal programme planning and monitoring functions
- Track budgets, results and risks for programme delivery
- Strengthen partner capacity and results-based management systems
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree in Social Science, Statistics, Development Studies, Planning or related field
- At least five years of relevant planning, monitoring or evaluation experience
- Fluency in English
- Open to Afghan nationals only
Desired Criteria
- Another official UN language or a local language
- Field monitoring, emergency programming or humanitarian response experience
- Cash-based programming and third-party monitoring experience
