Job Description

Supports IOM charter movements from Tripoli by coordinating flight requests, manifests, permits, advance booking notices and ground transport for migrants. The role works daily with airport, finance and medical teams, follows medical and travel readiness, maintains proflight records and invoices, and prepares movement statistics to help ensure orderly, compliant and timely operations.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Send charter requests and coordinate receiving missions, name lists, flight details and advance booking notifications
  • Prepare landing-permit requests and final-manifest additions and deletions in line with movement procedures
  • Coordinate daily with airport, finance, medical and other units on charter movements
  • Arrange ground transport for migrants travelling to international departure points
  • Coordinate medical logistics and follow-up procedures with the IOM Medical Unit
  • Ensure ready-to-travel migrants are included in final manifests
  • Prepare accurate movement statistical reports for the Operations Unit
  • Maintain and close proflight files and hand records to finance for invoice processing

Role Requirements

  • Five years of experience with secondary education, or three years of experience with a bachelor's degree
  • Fluency in English, oral and written

Desired Criteria

  • Prior movement operations or transportation experience
  • Experience with movement operations databases and systems
