Job Description
Strengthen quality assurance for NATO digital interoperability standards. The officer aligns technical standards with policy and architecture, manages standardization workstreams, builds traceable repository workflows, develops conformance mechanisms and coordinates NATO, government, military and industry stakeholders.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Develop policies and advice for digital interoperability standards
- Coordinate standard-writing teams, workstreams, risks and adoption
- Maintain technical coherence across digital and cybersecurity standards
- Represent the division and prepare senior-leadership briefing materials
- Manage configuration, traceability and version control for standards
- Build machine-processable repositories and engineering artefacts
- Define conformance criteria, validation frameworks and test systems
- Track emerging standards and improve standardization practice
Role Requirements
- Relevant university degree or equivalent qualification
- At least four years of standardization project or programme experience
- Strong complex-systems design and development background
- Advanced proficiency in English or French and beginner proficiency in the other
- Nationality of a NATO member country
- Successful medical, study, experience and accreditation checks
Desired Criteria
- International-organization or government experience is an advantage
- Machine-processable engineering-artefact experience is an advantage
- NATO standardization familiarity is an advantage
