Job Description
Coordinates IOM Ethiopia's community-based reintegration and Enterprise Development Fund work, helping returnees, vulnerable migrants and host communities access livelihoods, services and local economic opportunities. The role links field teams, government, partners and private-sector actors while monitoring results, strengthening implementation and documenting evidence for programme decisions.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Coordinate implementation and monitoring of community-based reintegration interventions addressing economic, social and psychosocial needs
- Organize community, market and value-chain assessments to identify reintegration priorities and opportunities
- Implement Enterprise Development Fund outreach, enterprise selection documentation, due diligence and monitoring follow-up
- Engage SMEs, business associations, financial institutions and entrepreneurship-support organizations to advance employment opportunities
- Monitor implementing partners and service providers against workplans, IOM standards, donor requirements and protection principles
- Consolidate beneficiary feedback, results data and lessons learned on employment, income, market access and sustainability
- Conduct field monitoring visits and prepare observations and recommended follow-up actions
- Prepare donor-reporting inputs, briefing notes, concept notes and technical documentation
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in political or social sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or a related field with two years of relevant professional experience; or a Master's degree in those fields
- Fluency in English and Amharic, oral and written
Desired Criteria
- Experience implementing reintegration or similar projects at global or regional level with a UN agency or international organization
- Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions in a multicultural setting
