Job Description
IOM seeks a National Project Officer to manage and deliver labour-mobility and social-inclusion projects in Uzbekistan. The role coordinates implementation, budgets, monitoring and donor reporting; works with government, UN agencies and migrant representatives; develops capacity; supervises project staff; and supports proposals, communications and project information systems.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor the project’s operational, administrative and financial aspects
- Track project implementation, identify gaps and recommend corrective actions
- Develop and adjust work plans, budgets, monitoring tools and standard operating procedures
- Collect, verify and analyse data and update information-management systems
- Prepare and disseminate project reports in line with IOM and donor requirements
- Coordinate with donors, partners, UN agencies, local authorities and government counterparts
- Plan and deliver capacity-building activities for staff, partners and communities
- Supervise, train and provide technical guidance to project staff
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or related fields with two years of relevant professional experience, or master's degree in those fields
- Experience liaising with government authorities, institutions, UN agencies and non-governmental organisations
- Experience working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, trafficking survivors or other vulnerable groups
- In-depth knowledge of labour mobility, skills development, social and financial inclusion
- Fluency in English and Uzbek, oral and written
