Job Description

Provides technical support to strengthen women’s professional associations and peacebuilding platforms in Moldova that promote the Women, Peace and Security agenda. The consultant will diagnose organisational needs, develop tailored learning methods, deliver strategic guidance and coaching, and report on capacity-building results and future priorities.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Consult women’s associations and platforms to identify organisational needs and development opportunities
  • Prepare analytical reports with recommendations to strengthen capacity and outreach
  • Provide strategic-planning guidance to associations in security, justice and defence sectors
  • Develop learning modules on communication, resource mobilisation, advocacy and related needs
  • Deliver tailored trainings, coaching sessions, workshops and expert advice
  • Prepare a final report on results, lessons learned, challenges and future opportunities
  • Coordinate and submit agreed deliverables in electronic format

Role Requirements

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Organizational Development, Public Administration, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field, or a first-level university degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
  • At least five years of progressively responsible experience in human resources, corporate training or organizational development
  • Experience planning, executing and measuring organizational transformation projects
  • Experience developing and delivering gender-sensitive leadership training or employee-engagement programmes
  • Fluency in Romanian and English

Desired Criteria

  • Certification in organizational behaviour, change management or data analysis
  • Experience working with international organizations including the United Nations
  • Knowledge of another official UN language

Additional Information

  • Home-based consultancy with in-person training sessions and related activities in Chisinau
  • Unforeseeable travel outside Chisinau will be arranged by UN Women
