Summary of Responsibilities
- Lead the Field Office monitoring plan with risk-based priorities and resolution of gaps and backlogs
- Coordinate WFP, third-party, post-distribution, remote and field-verification monitoring activities
- Ensure monitoring data are complete, timely and available for qualitative and quantitative analysis
- Reconcile planned beneficiaries, food dispatches, distributions and people reached for country-programme reporting
- Use monitoring findings to drive programme adjustments and track actions and recommendations
- Supervise and coach field monitors, third-party monitors and partners
- Coordinate donor third-party-monitoring exercises across design, implementation and reporting
- Manage local feedback mechanisms so issues from affected populations are registered and addressed
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree in social sciences, statistics, development economics, performance management, monitoring and evaluation or a related field, or first university degree with additional relevant experience
- Five years of relevant experience including one year of professional experience in project monitoring, evaluation or data analysis within humanitarian or development contexts
- English and Arabic
