Job Description

Supports UNDP and Fiji’s Ministry of Finance to strengthen monitoring, reporting and verification systems for 18 bond-funded public-sector projects. The assignment consolidates project data, establishes ministry reporting workflows and templates, and builds institutional capacity to generate reliable reports that improve transparency, accountability and evidence-based public-finance decisions.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Collect raw monitoring datasets from 18 projects across ministries
  • Clean, validate and standardise project datasets
  • Align datasets with the approved MRV matrix
  • Develop standardised reporting templates
  • Establish reporting workflows within ministries
  • Support the Ministry of Finance to embed reporting systems
  • Build ministry capacity to generate reports independently

Role Requirements

  • Strong data-management and analysis skills
  • Experience in monitoring and evaluation systems or public-sector reporting
  • Knowledge of Excel or statistical tools
  • Ability to work with government stakeholders
  • English

Desired Criteria

  • Experience with UN or UNDP systems
  • Knowledge of MRV frameworks
  • Experience in capacity building
