M&E Data Collection Consultant

Supports IOM Moldova’s Monitoring and Evaluation and Information Management Unit by gathering reliable feedback from communities and refugees. The consultant conducts structured interviews and observations, administers questionnaires ethically, uses digital collection tools, submits timely data and escalates urgent cases for referral to strengthen programme accountability and learning.

• Attend required training sessions
• Conduct CATI and CAPI interviews
• Administer questionnaires accurately
• Collect observational data
• Ensure ethical conduct and obtain informed consent
• Use digital tools for data collection

• Report issues and urgent cases to supervisors for referral
• Travel when necessary

• High School diploma with one year of relevant experience performing the same responsibilities
• Experience in data collection methods
• Experience building and maintaining key informant networks
• Experience using paper questionnaires and forms for interviews
• Experience using computers, mobile phones or tablets for data collection or entry

• Official duty travel is reimbursed or transportation is provided subject to advance agreement and IOM travel policies
• Consultants receive Daily Subsistence Allowance at IOM rates for approved temporary duty travel outside the duty station
• Consultants must provide proof of medical insurance for non-occupational accidents or illness before starting
• Appointment is subject to funding confirmation, medical fitness, accreditation, residency or visa requirements and security clearances
