Job Description
Leads UN Women's regional knowledge and evidence systems for East and Southern Africa, connecting research, data, learning and programme intelligence. The consultant will establish governance, repositories, dashboards and information architecture, improve the accessibility and reuse of gender evidence, and build country-office capacity to turn evidence into secure, practical insights for policy, programmes and accountability.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Develop evidence governance and knowledge-management systems
- Maintain taxonomies, metadata standards and evidence catalogues
- Design repositories, databases and information architecture
- Develop dashboards, scorecards and automated reporting products
- Integrate data sources and establish quality-assurance procedures
- Build country-office capacity in evidence systems and digital platforms
Role Requirements
- Master's degree in a relevant information, data, computer science or digital transformation field
- At least 5 years of experience managing information systems, databases, digital repositories or knowledge systems
- Experience developing business intelligence and dashboards using data-visualisation tools
- Fluency in English
Desired Criteria
- Experience programming with R or STATA
- Experience in gender equality, development, humanitarian, statistics, research or evidence programmes
- Experience with the UN system or international organisations
- Knowledge of another official UN language
