Responsibilities

  • Advise grantees on survivor-centred programme design and delivery
  • Strengthen partner systems, safeguarding, governance and compliance
  • Manage Africa grants across selection, implementation, revision and closure
  • Review proposals, budgets, risk controls and monitoring frameworks
  • Monitor portfolio performance, reports, missions and fiduciary risks
  • Lead partner capacity development and institutional strengthening
  • Generate portfolio analysis, learning and donor-reporting inputs
  • Coordinate UN Women offices, civil society and regional stakeholders

Requirements

  • Relevant master's degree, or first degree with two additional years of experience
  • At least five years of programme-management experience addressing violence against women
  • Direct experience with civil-society and women’s organizations in Africa
  • Programme design, monitoring, reporting and results-based management experience
  • Fluency in English
