Partnership Development and Coordination Specialist – ASEAN

Leads UN Women’s strategic partnership with ASEAN, aligning regional and country programming on gender equality while coordinating intergovernmental engagement, portfolio monitoring, resource mobilisation and collaboration with governments, civil society and dialogue partners.

Department: Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific

• Lead UN Women’s engagement strategy and strategic positioning with ASEAN
• Coordinate regional and country-office contributions to coherent ASEAN programming
• Maintain partnerships with the ASEAN Secretariat, institutions and Member States
• Identify new regional collaboration opportunities advancing gender equality
• Coordinate portfolio monitoring, results frameworks and donor reporting
• Develop resource-mobilisation strategies, concept notes and programme proposals
• Build partnerships with civil society, women’s organisations and ASEAN dialogue partners
• Analyse regional gender-equality trends and advise senior management on engagement opportunities

• Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Political Science, Development, Public Administration or Gender, or a bachelor’s degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
• At least seven years of experience in programme development and coordination, including resource mobilisation, partnership building and stakeholder engagement
• Experience in women’s empowerment or human rights
• Experience in policy analysis, strategic planning and advocacy with intergovernmental or regional bodies
• Experience in knowledge management and institutional capacity development
• Experience with office software, spreadsheets, databases and web-based management systems
• Fluency in English and Indonesian

• The role reports to the Regional Director with daily reporting to the Indonesia Country Representative and ASEAN Liaison
