Responsibilities

  • Lead UN Women’s engagement strategy and strategic positioning with ASEAN
  • Coordinate regional and country-office contributions to coherent ASEAN programming
  • Maintain partnerships with the ASEAN Secretariat, institutions and Member States
  • Identify new regional collaboration opportunities advancing gender equality
  • Coordinate portfolio monitoring, results frameworks and donor reporting
  • Develop resource-mobilisation strategies, concept notes and programme proposals
  • Build partnerships with civil society, women’s organisations and ASEAN dialogue partners
  • Analyse regional gender-equality trends and advise senior management on engagement opportunities

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Political Science, Development, Public Administration or Gender, or a bachelor’s degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
  • At least seven years of experience in programme development and coordination, including resource mobilisation, partnership building and stakeholder engagement
  • Experience in women’s empowerment or human rights
  • Experience in policy analysis, strategic planning and advocacy with intergovernmental or regional bodies
  • Experience in knowledge management and institutional capacity development
  • Experience with office software, spreadsheets, databases and web-based management systems
  • Fluency in English and Indonesian
