Responsibilities

  • Maintain strategic partnerships and donor relationships for the country office
  • Implement resource-mobilisation strategies and support due-diligence processes
  • Coordinate development and amendment of strategic notes and work plans
  • Guide corporate monitoring, annual reporting and follow-up on critical actions
  • Support UN-system accountability tools for gender equality
  • Coordinate inter-agency planning under the cooperation framework and common country assessment
  • Support gender-theme and results groups with the Resident Coordinator’s Office
  • Prepare analytical progress reports and inputs for regional and global coordination

Requirements

  • Egyptian nationality
  • Master’s degree in economics, business management, social sciences, public administration, international relations, communications, women’s studies or a related field, or a first-level degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
  • At least two years of relevant experience in research, donor relations, resource mobilisation or business development
  • Experience with the UN system or another international organisation in similar assignments
  • Experience in gender equality and women’s empowerment
  • Fluency in English and Arabic
