Supports UN Women Bosnia and Herzegovina by designing and delivering fundraising and donor engagement training for civil society organizations working on ending violence against women and inclusive service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to joint programme design, workplan, needs assessment and final reporting
  • Design training content on donor mapping, fundraising strategy, income diversification and relationship management
  • Facilitate at least three interactive group training sessions for ten civil society organizations
  • Provide one individual mentoring session per organization on fundraising context and tailored plans
  • Develop practical tools, templates and a curated funding opportunity resource list
  • Support preparation workshops and coaching for a donor networking event
  • Contribute to communication and storytelling guidance for donor and partner engagement
  • Coordinate closely with the capacity-building consultant and UN Women through bi-weekly meetings

Requirements

  • Master's degree or equivalent in development studies, communications, social sciences, business, economics or a related field
  • A first-level university degree with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted instead of an advanced degree
  • At least five years of professional experience in fundraising, donor relations, resource mobilization or strategic communications
  • Experience designing and facilitating training or advisory services for civil society organizations on fundraising strategy, donor engagement or income diversification
  • Excellent written and spoken Bosnian, Croatian or Serbian

Additional info

  • Home-based consultancy with possible presence at UN Women premises in Sarajevo
  • Assignment includes 30 indicative working days with final deliverables due by 30 November 2026
  • Travel will be pre-arranged and approved with expenses covered by UN Women
  • Deliverables must be submitted in Bosnian, Croatian or Serbian
