Responsibilities
- Develop programme design, workplan, needs assessment questionnaire and summary report with the fundraising consultant
- Adapt capacity-building content based on needs assessment findings
- Design training materials on funding opportunities, proposal structure, results-based management, budgeting and donor compliance
- Facilitate at least three group training sessions for ten civil society organizations
- Provide individual mentoring to each participating organization on proposal concepts or funding strategy
- Develop practical tools, templates and resource guides for future grant applications
- Support preparation workshops and coaching for a donor networking event
- Coordinate and quality-assure joint deliverables before submission to UN Women
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent in development studies, project management, social sciences, law, gender studies or a related field
- A first-level university degree with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted instead of an advanced degree
- At least five years of professional experience in capacity-building, training, facilitation or programme management in the civil society, development or humanitarian sector
- Experience designing and delivering training on project proposal writing, grant management or access to funding for civil society organizations
- Experience developing training curricula, toolkits or practical guidance materials for civil society organizations
- Excellent written and spoken Bosnian, Croatian or Serbian

- Home-based consultancy with possible presence at UN Women premises in Sarajevo
- Assignment runs from 13 August to 30 November 2026 for 32 indicative working days
- Travel will be pre-arranged and approved with expenses covered by UN Women
