Responsibilities
- Maintain coordination with the University Grants Commission on the approved workplan
- Organize working committee meetings, logistics and documentation with supervisory support
- Liaise with UN Women, civil society partners and selected universities on project implementation
- Coordinate with government stakeholders including MoWCA, DWA and UGC committees as required
- Support capacity-building initiatives on gender equality and gender-based violence prevention
- Coordinate qualitative and quantitative data collection, interviews, focus groups and consultations
- Draft communication materials, event summaries, talking points and background notes
- Support online monitoring tool development, data compilation, analysis and reporting
Requirements
- Master's degree in gender and development, development studies, international relations, political science, peace and conflict studies, human rights, public policy, governance or another related social science discipline
- At least three years of relevant experience coordinating with high-level government, regulatory, public sector, higher education or ministry stakeholders
- At least three years of experience organizing and coordinating consultations, workshops, trainings, conferences and multi-stakeholder dialogues
- At least two years of experience preparing reports, meeting documentation, briefing notes, concept notes and communication materials
- At least two years of experience working on online monitoring and reporting tools, data generation, compilation, analysis and report writing
- Excellent communication, coordination and relationship management skills
- Excellent command of both Bangla and English

Additional info
- Consultant works four days per week up to 16 days per month from 1 August 2026 to 14 July 2028
- Consultant must work at the University Grants Commission office during agreed working days
- UN Women will not provide equipment or devices
- No DSA is paid at the duty station; approved travel outside Dhaka may be reimbursed with per diem
