Education Officer

Provides technical, operational and administrative support to education programme development, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting in Afghanistan.

• Support education programme development and planning processes
• Contribute to programme management, monitoring and delivery of education results
• Provide technical and operational support to programme implementation
• Build networks and partnerships for education programming
• Support innovation, knowledge management and capacity building
• Prepare and implement programme tasks for monitoring, evaluation and reporting

• Bachelor or equivalent first-level university degree in Education, Psychology, Sociology or another relevant technical field
• Minimum two years of professional experience in programme planning, management or research in education
• Skills in data analysis, field operations, resource mobilisation, advocacy, knowledge management and capacity building
• Fluency in English
• Open only to Afghan nationals

• Temporary appointment for 364 days
