Project Analyst

Supports management of UN Women's GENSTAT programme in Morocco, coordinating implementation, monitoring, budget inputs, partner engagement and reporting for gender-sensitive statistics and evidence-based governance.

Department: Morocco Country Office

• Coordinate annual workplan, budget and results framework implementation
• Monitor day-to-day project delivery, resource use and compliance with UN Women and donor requirements
• Provide technical inputs to monitoring systems, progress reports and donor reports
• Support budget implementation, financial reports and terms of reference for project personnel
• Contribute to UN country coordination processes and gender equality inputs
• Develop partnership and resource mobilization documentation, donor profiles and project summaries
• Support knowledge management, best practices, lessons learned and advocacy storylines
• Supervise a UNV programme assistant

• Master's degree or equivalent in social sciences, statistics, international development, gender or women's studies or a related field
• A first-level university degree with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted instead of an advanced degree
• At least two years of progressively responsible experience in development programme or project implementation, coordination, monitoring and evaluation, donor reporting and capacity building
• Experience analysing and interpreting disaggregated quantitative and qualitative gender-related data
• Experience providing analytical and coordination support to development programmes
• Experience coordinating work across teams, partners and stakeholders
• Experience using computers, office software, spreadsheets, databases and web-based management systems
• Fluency in French and English
