Responsibilities

  • Assess communication materials, channels, performance data and stakeholder perceptions
  • Audit website content structure, user experience, technical performance, accessibility and gender equality alignment
  • Benchmark communications against industry practice and peer organizations
  • Prepare an audit report with findings, risks and prioritized recommendations
  • Map stakeholder categories, personas, relationships, influence and engagement channels
  • Develop a 12-month communications plan with audience-specific approaches, themes and channels
  • Define monitoring, evaluation, reporting and crisis communication mechanisms
  • Ensure UN Women and donor visibility in communication activities

Requirements

  • Master's degree or equivalent in communication, journalism, philology, political science, international relations, strategic communication, public relations or a related field
  • A first-level university degree with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted instead of an advanced degree
  • At least five years of progressively responsible professional experience in communication, strategic public relations, gender equality programming, sustainable development or promotion with media management
  • Prior experience designing and delivering campaigns and launch events
  • Experience engaging with government, financial institutions, business community and women's organizations in Moldova
  • Experience producing technical reports, assessments, promotional materials, outreach campaigns or policy guidance in Romanian and at least one other language
  • Fluency in Romanian and working knowledge of English
