Communications for WEE and Migration Consultant

Provides retainer communications and advocacy support for UN Women’s Women’s Economic Empowerment and Migration portfolio, coordinating content, digital communications and knowledge-sharing activities.

Department: Women’s Economic Empowerment and Migration

• Track website and digital content review cycles and coordinate feedback and revisions
• Liaise with designers, consultants, vendors and service providers for communications materials
• Collate and process social media and digital communications analytics and prepare summary reports
• Coordinate internal review and approval of communications and knowledge products
• Support post-event communications, content organisation and documentation of outputs and results
• Coordinate feedback collection and follow-up actions for communications and knowledge-sharing activities

• Master's degree or equivalent in digital communications, educational technology, journalism, public relations or related fields, or first-level university degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
• Minimum two years of professional experience in strategic communications, advocacy or online communications, web publishing, electronic networks or related fields
• Strong proficiency in English
• Excellent English writing and editing skills

• Home-based retainer consultancy delivered on call with no guarantee of work volume
• Travel to the Asia-Pacific region may be required and arranged under UN Women travel policy
• A daily rate is paid upon approved deliverables
• Services are engaged through Quantum Purchase Orders under the agreed contract
