Responsibilities
- Plan and design internal and external communications and outreach strategies for the Joint Programme
- Develop communications needs assessments and integrate advocacy into programme implementation
- Implement the publications strategy and develop storylines, articles and visibility products
- Coordinate publication activities, content management, design, suppliers and dissemination
- Create and promote campaigns, advocacy materials and public information products
- Prepare web content, stories, articles, donor newsletters and community-awareness materials
- Maintain media, donor, civil-society and private-sector contacts for outreach and advocacy
- Identify and share best practices, lessons learned and knowledge products linked to programme goals
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in communications, media relations, journalism, publishing, partnership development or a related field, or bachelor's degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
- Minimum five years with a master's degree, or seven years with a bachelor's degree, of relevant national or international experience in public relations, communications and advocacy
- Proven experience with Adobe Creative Cloud or other software tools for data visualisation, infographics, presentations and reports
- Strong written and verbal communication, writing and organisational skills
- Proficiency in written and oral English
- Proficiency in written and oral Arabic
