Responsibilities

  • Finalize the WHO Afghanistan Investment Case for 2027 to 2028
  • Develop funding narratives and donor-facing materials
  • Map prospective traditional and non-traditional partners
  • Lead strategic planning and resource-prioritization exercises
  • Develop funding scenarios and management briefing materials
  • Support proposals, donor reports and partnership initiatives
  • Strengthen planning and resource-mobilization tools

Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in international relations, public policy, development studies, public health, political science, economics, law or business administration
  • Five to ten years of progressively responsible experience in resource mobilization, partnerships, external relations or strategic planning
  • International experience supporting health, humanitarian, emergency or development programmes in fragile settings
  • Experience designing resource-mobilization and partnership strategies
  • Experience leading multi-stakeholder strategic planning processes
  • Excellent English drafting ability for strategic and donor-facing products
