Junior Communications Officer

Supports ITU communications work through content development, coordination and delivery of outreach activities that advance the organisation’s global information and communication technology mandate. The internship offers practical experience in preparing communication materials, engaging internal stakeholders and contributing to clear public-facing messages within an international environment.

• Develop public-sector-management operations and policy-based programmes
• Lead processing and administration of loans and technical assistance
• Conduct economic and sector analysis on fiscal and institutional reforms
• Support government dialogue on public finance and investment
• Coordinate country teams and development partners
• Supervise staff and manage knowledge products

• University degree in economics, finance, public policy or related field
• At least six years of relevant professional experience in public sector management
• Experience in project processing or administration and policy dialogue on public finance
• Excellent written and verbal English

• Postgraduate qualification in a related field
• Experience in a research institution or multilateral agency
