Job Description
Supports the Office of Inspections and Investigations with legal research, evidence review and quality assurance for investigation reports and other written products. The internship contributes to preliminary complaint assessment, ongoing investigations and development of OIGI's internal investigative framework while building practical knowledge of administrative investigations and misconduct response.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Review investigation reports and other written products for accuracy and consistency
- Examine underlying evidence supporting investigative findings
- Conduct legal research on UN internal frameworks and administrative jurisprudence
- Support development of OIGI's internal investigative framework
- Assist with preliminary assessment of complaints
- Support ongoing investigations and related investigative work
Role Requirements
- Current enrolment in an undergraduate or graduate programme in law or a related field, or graduation from such a programme within six months before applying
- University course attendance within the past 12 months
- Excellent written and spoken English at proficiency level C
- Applicants must not be the son, daughter, brother or sister of a WFP staff member
