Job Description
The internship supports WFP's engagement with Member States, multilateral organisations and prospective partners in Geneva. It tracks policy and governance positions, maps partnership entry points, prepares briefs, proposals and concept notes, and helps shape evidence-based advocacy and communications that strengthen attention to food security, emergency response and WFP operations.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Track Member State positions in dialogues and thematic issues relevant to WFP
- Identify and map entry points for engagement with multilateral and private-sector partners
- Prepare meeting briefs and recommended positions for senior management
- Draft proposals and concept notes supporting partnership and advocacy objectives
- Support briefings, communications and outreach to Member States and counterpart organisations
Role Requirements
- Current Bachelor's student with at least two completed years or current Master's student, with classes attended in the last 12 months
- Alternatively, university graduation within six months before application and classes attended in the last 12 months
- Excellent written and spoken English at proficiency level C
- Applicants must not be the child or sibling of a current WFP employee
Desired Criteria
- Exposure to policy development in multilateral organisations, national governments or NGOs
- International education or work experience
- Experience preparing briefs or communications
- Basic understanding of government strategies
- Ability to use data visualisation to build action-oriented narratives
